Warm the milk to activate yeast.

Instructions
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, sugar, beaten egg, melted butter, and salt. Mix until combined.
Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
Assembling the Bread
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and brush with melted butter.
Sprinkle sugar mixture over the dough evenly, then cut the dough into squares.
Layer the squares in a greased loaf pan.
Baking
Cover and let the assembled dough rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
Notes
Enjoy with a drizzle of icing or a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
