Fresh Fruits

  • 2 cups Citrus fruits (oranges, mandarins, clementines, grapefruits) Peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups Apples, cored and chopped Use a mix of sweet and tart varieties
  • 2 cups Pears, cored and chopped Choose firm types
  • 1 cup Pomegranate seeds Add for crunch and color
  • 2 pieces Kiwis, peeled and sliced For a slightly tart flavor

Optional Dressings

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh orange or lemon juice Enhances flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup Adds sweetness
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon or ginger For warmth

Preparation

  • Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly.
  • Peel the citrus fruits and remove excess white pith.
  • Core and chop the apples and pears into bite-sized pieces.
  • Slice the kiwis into rounds or cubes.
  • Carefully remove the pomegranate seeds.

Mixing

  • Place all fruits in a large bowl and gently mix to avoid bruising.
  • If using dressing, add just before serving and mix gently.

Notes

For a holiday version, add cranberries, figs, or chopped nuts. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours, keeping dressing separate until serving.
