  • 8 oz spaghetti Or any pasta of your choice.
  • 2 cups pasta sauce (marinara, alfredo, etc.) Use your favorite sauce.
  • 1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or parmesan) Feel free to mix cheeses.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to your preference.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 cup optional veggies (spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.) Sauté before adding for best texture.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to garlic bread package instructions.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with pasta sauce and toss to coat.
  • Cut the garlic bread loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out the insides to create bowls.
  • Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  • Top with cheese and any optional veggies.
  • Place the filled garlic bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake until the bread is toasted and cheese is melted, according to garlic bread package instructions.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Hollow the bread carefully to leave a solid edge so it holds the pasta. Drain spaghetti well to prevent sogginess. Bake until crispy and cheese is melted.
