Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Coat chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
Cooking
  1. For grilling: Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. For baking: Place chicken in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  3. For creamy chicken, add cream during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  4. For spicy chicken, drizzle hot sauce before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken warm with your choice of sides like steamed vegetables and rice or mashed potatoes with a green salad.

Notes

Pound thicker parts to even thickness for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it's at 165°F (75°C). Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting to ensure juices remain.
