Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Coat chicken breasts with the spice mixture.

Cooking

  • For grilling: Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • For baking: Place chicken in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • For creamy chicken, add cream during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  • For spicy chicken, drizzle hot sauce before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken warm with your choice of sides like steamed vegetables and rice or mashed potatoes with a green salad.

Notes

Pound thicker parts to even thickness for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it's at 165°F (75°C). Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting to ensure juices remain.
