Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and spread softened cream cheese evenly over it.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, dried cranberries, and chopped walnuts evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Carefully roll the puff pastry into a log, then slice into 1-inch thick pieces.
- Place the slices flat on the prepared tray and brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
Make it ahead and bake just before serving. You can substitute walnuts with pecans or skip them entirely for a nut-free version. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey or a dollop of cranberry sauce on the side.
