Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim off the ends. Cut large sprouts in half to ensure even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.

Roasting

  • Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not crowded.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  • Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the sprouts just before serving, if desired.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, avoid crowding the baking sheet to prevent steaming. Adjust seasoning to your preference. Pair with various main courses or add to salads for extra crunch.
