Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, water, milk, butter, eggs, baking powder, and salt. Mix everything until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs, and butter for the filling.
- Cook this mixture on medium heat while stirring constantly until it thickens. Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool.
Baking
- Pour half of the prepared dough into a greased cake pan and spread it evenly.
- Pour the cooled cream filling over the batter.
- Pour the remaining dough on top.
- Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Finishing Touches
- Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Dust with icing sugar or your favorite garnish before serving.
