Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (3-4 breasts) Season well with salt and pepper before cooking.
  • 2 servings fresh ramen noodles Can substitute with dried ramen, cook for 1 minute less.
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use low heat to prevent curdling.
  • 2 green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • Cilantro (optional) For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients on your countertop for an organized cooking process.
  • In a large pan over medium heat, add oil and cook seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and let rest.
  • In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Add chicken broth and soy sauce; scrape any browned bits from the pan.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and add ramen noodles; cook according to package instructions (usually 4-5 minutes) until tender.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and red pepper flakes for added spice.
  • Slice rested chicken into strips and serve over creamy noodles. Garnish with green onions and cilantro if desired.

Notes

Serve hot in deep bowls to keep the sauce warm. Offer extra red pepper flakes on the side for added heat. For storage, cool to room temperature, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on low.
