  • 2 pieces eggs use room temperature for better mixing
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased pan, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in your preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • Let the cake cool completely before adding your favorite frosting or toppings.
