Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients
  

For the meat sauce

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey, chicken, or Italian sausage.
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the layers

  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli Fresh ravioli can be used; reduce cooking time.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Mix with other cheese types as per preference.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Mix with other cheese types as per preference.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning with the beef. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Grease your slow cooker and spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom.
  • Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, ensuring they are evenly spread.
  • Top the ravioli with half of the remaining meat sauce, followed by half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and finishing with the remaining cheese on top.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Serve hot from the slow cooker. It’s great on its own or paired with a side salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
