Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice onions thinly and separate them into rings. Pat rings dry with a towel.
- In a bowl, mix Parmesan, paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
- Brush a little avocado oil on each onion ring.
- Press each ring into the cheese mix on both sides so cheese sticks well.
Baking
- Place rings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is crisp. Watch closely to avoid burning.
- Let chips cool on the sheet for a few minutes to firm up before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. They pair well with ranch, sour cream dip, or sliced avocado. For extended crispness, store in an airtight container with a paper towel to absorb moisture. Avoid refrigeration to prevent softening.
