Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain it and set it aside.
Cooking
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and sprinkle the Cajun seasoning. Cook the chicken until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced onion and sliced bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and everything is well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For best results, serve immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet with additional chicken broth if needed.
