Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are browned.
Notes
Cookies can be served warm or at room temperature. Perfect with milk or hot cocoa. Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
