  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped green onions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large baking dish, spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom.
  • Pour the chili over the tater tots, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once it’s done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Scoop out generous portions to serve, then top each serving with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped green onions.

Notes

For a healthier option, use baked tater tots. Feel free to customize with different types of cheese or chili. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
