Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large baking dish, spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the chili over the tater tots, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once it’s done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Serving
- Scoop out generous portions to serve, then top each serving with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped green onions.
Notes
For a healthier option, use baked tater tots. Feel free to customize with different types of cheese or chili. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
