  • 1 cup Filling of your choice (e.g., cream cheese, fruit preserves, chocolate) Customize the filling as desired.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the dough package instructions to ensure it bakes evenly.
  • Roll out the dough on a clean surface. Cut it into squares or circles, depending on what shape you prefer for your treats.
  • Place a spoonful of your chosen filling in the center of each piece of dough. Make sure not to overfill.
  • Fold the dough over to cover the filling and crimp the edges securely.
  • Brush the tops of the treats with an egg wash.

Baking

  • Place the filled treats on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions, or until golden brown.
  • Allow the treats to cool slightly, then dust them with powdered sugar if desired.
  • Serve them warm for the best taste!

Notes

Store any leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Freeze unbaked treats for up to a month.
