  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 12 oz package fettuccine pasta
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a lighter option, use half-and-half.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust according to spice preference.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be adjusted to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sirloin steak strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are tender.
  4. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream to the skillet; stir in the Cajun seasoning.
  6. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken slightly.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese; stir until well combined.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Cool the pasta to room temperature, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or broth. For variations, substitute chicken or sausage, add extra Cajun seasoning or vegetables, and use dairy-free alternatives if necessary.
