Ingredients
  

BBQ Chicken
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded Use warm chicken for better sauce absorption.
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Coleslaw
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix Pat dry if very wet.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Light mayo can be replaced with Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Optional for additional flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions Optional for additional flavor.
Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas Can substitute with whole wheat, spinach, or gluten-free wraps.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce. Stir until well coated.
  2. In another bowl, prepare the coleslaw by mixing the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Optional: Add chopped cilantro and sliced green onions to the coleslaw and stir to incorporate.
Assembly
  1. Lay out a flour tortilla on a flat surface and place a portion of the BBQ chicken mixture in the center.
  2. Add a generous scoop of the coleslaw on top of the chicken.
  3. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom to enclose the filling completely.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  5. Cut each wrap in half for easier handling and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Offer extra BBQ sauce or lime wedges on the side. If preparing in advance, keep coleslaw separate until serving.
