Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Whisk in eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add cocoa powder, almond flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
To make vegan, replace eggs with flax eggs. For nut-free, use oat flour instead of almond flour. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
